Since having moved to Long Island, first experience when I was dating my now ex-husband. Despite the demise of my marriage, I can say that this venue doesn't disappoint. Definitely some renovations over the years and inside decor has changed in aesthetics but the food quality and service has not wavered. Located conveniently on the corner, plenty of access to the enormous parking lot. Lots of dining space and a "back room" for private parties. Full bar with full service menu. Music beats through the PA system and you feel transported to a Latin American country. Three televisions (on mute) broadcast Telemundo and native language programs. Menu offers a little something for every tone including the littles. Portion sizes are huge and priced accordingly. Traditional beverages and delicious desserts need to be mentioned. The flan is to die for. You won't be disappointed.... After 23 years of patronage... consistency is key. Friendly staff, super clean and gender assigned bathrooms.
LOVE IT HERE. The food is always piping hot, fresh, and full of undeniable flavor. This visit, I had the Camarones Encendidos! The sauce was as blessed as holy water and I want to put it on everything. As a matter of fact, dipping slices of fried yuca in it was absolutely heavenly. Not pictured but equally important, is the pomegranate martini that completed my meal in a way I can't explain. On top of all that, the service is always wonderful which truly makes for a perfect dining experience. Be sure to visit Casa Vieja, you won't regret it.
I love this place ! I don't come here often anymore because we don't live close by anymore. But today we took the 20min for pick up& oh good thing we did! The service is always amazing. All the staff are friendly & attentive. The food is delicious, anything on the menu is so good! Definitely plan on coming back& I recommend anyone to do so too!
